M&N FC Management Set To Commence Legal Battle With Clique Sports Over Adeshina
Following the hijacking of its player Ayodele Adeshina Ibrahim, the management of M&N FC has concluded an arrangement to commence a legal battle with the management of Clique Sports Academy.
Clique Sports Academy Lagos was alleged to have hijacked the Adeshina after the player finished his loan spell with Otassolo FC.
The Chief Executive Officer of M&N FC Japan-based Bolarinwa Obalola Kobayashi claimed to have approached the Clique Sports Academy.
He made it clear to them that the 22-year-old player has a valid contract with his M&N FC
” Adeshina Ayodele Ibrahim signed a 2-year contract with M&N FC and has a valid Document that carries his age of 22 years.
It was so surprising that Clique Sports Academy management went ahead to do international passport for the player and backdated his age to 17 years.
How can a player that has finished a higher institution in Nigeria be 17 years?.
“We learned that Adeshina has been sent to play for Beyond Limit one of the reserve teams of Remo Stars.
“We have tried to reach them on many occasions but turned down our approach and at this juncture, what remains is to approach the court of law for justice.
” Adeshina has a valid contract with M&N FC and he has to honour it or forget about playing football”, he stated.
