NLO Youth U19: Remo Comets Pip M&N FC

M&N Football Club started their campaign in the U19 NLO Youth League on a wrong note as they suffered a narrow defeat to Remo Comets.
Playing at the Sagamu Centre situated at the FC Ebiede Stadium in Sagamu, the Samurai Boys gave a good account of themselves in a keenly contested encounter.
The first stanza of the game lived up to the expectations with both sides trying to outwit one another.
M&N FC goalkeeper Onad stole the show with scintillating saves to the admiration of the crowd as the first half ended in a goalless affair.
The second half resumed with Remo Comets trying to control the game and their efforts quickly paid off as got the first through an own goal from the defender of M&N.
They scored the second a few minutes later but Samurai Boys refused to give up.
Segun Olubanjo reduced the deficit for the Samurai after a distinctive foot before slotting in the ball.
Remo Comets came back stronger to score 3 quick goals to wrap up the game as it ended 5-1 in their favor.
