M&N FC Star Amegavi Segun Go AWOL

The management of the Nigeria League One side M&N FC has declared left-footed winger Amegavi Segun Anthony missing.

Amegavi also known as Mahrez was part of Samurai Boys that participated in the 2023 maiden edition of the NLO U19 Youth League.

After his decent outing at the Sagamu Centre of the tournament, the Nigeria National League side Madiba FC requested his service.

After much discussion and deliberation, the management of M&N FC decided to allow him to join Madiba as a trialist

But after spending a few days with the NNL club, Amegavi has absconded and no one could locate his destination at the time of writing this report.

According to the update from the M&N management, Amegavi was given money to get his passport as he was about to join a school outside the country and hasn’t returned since then.

” We are using this medium to tell everyone that our player Amegavi Segun Anthony has gone on Absent Without Official Leave ( AWOL).

He was on loan to Madiba FC and he has refused to return to the camp of M&N FC.

Andgavi collected money from us to get his international passport as we have secured admission for him outside Nigeria but he refused to return to the club camp”, the club management said.

The management further said anyone with his whereabouts should endeavour to notify the management of the club.
