M&N Samurai League: Jamiu Fires Brace As Choice FC Beat Essy Okunola
Action resumed on Saturday in the maiden edition of the Samurai League and it was a good day in the office for Choice FC.
The spectators at the Remo stadium in Ikenne Ogun State witnessed an amazing performance from both sides
Choice FC took charge of the game earlier on as Yekeen Jamiu netted the opening goal in the 3rd minute and quickly completed his brace in the 29th minute, while Olugola Kehinde increased the tally to 3-0 33 minutes later and ensured that the team returned to the locker room with a comfortable lead.
Essy Okunola bounced back strongly in the second half and improved massively in their play and took charge of the possession
Their efforts paid off in 50th minute as Abass Abubakar reduced the scoreline to 3-1.
Precious Raphael scored the second goal for Essy Okunola in the 58th minute to make it 3-2 and put Choice FC under intense pressure towards the end of the game.
Despite the pressure, Choice FC did enough to nullify all the attacking threat of Essy Okunola and secured maximum points in the game.
