M&N FC suffered a 2-3 defeat in the final group game of the ongoing NLO Youth League.
Played at the FC Ebiede stadium in Sagamu, the Star Builders team dominated the opening proceedings and their efforts were well rewarded with 2 quick-fire goals.
The Samurai Boys grew into the game and the tactical changes of the coach swung the game in their favour.
Substitute Badmus Olalekan justified his introduction as he reduced the deficit in the 35th minute.
Amegavi Segun scored the much-needed equaliser on the stroke of halftime and ended the first stanza 2-2.
The second half resumed with the Samurai Boys’ comfortably dominating the game but failed to convert their chances.
Toward the end of the second half, the Star Builders got a free kick at the edge of the box which resulted in a goal and handed a 3-2 victory.
