Organisations, groups and individuals continued to applaud the Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde over the step he took concerning Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium.
Few weeks back, the energetic governor released fund for the rehabilitation and remodelling of Adamasingba Stadium with an ambition of making it up to the international standard.
Latest group to commend the effort of Governor is football grassroot coaches in the state under the auspices of Oyo State Grassroot Football Coaching ( OSGFCE).
The organisation through its facilitators Coach Bolarinwa Obalola otherwise known as Kobayashi and the Director of Shooting Stars Academy Coach Ayo Adeyemo hailed the soft spoken Governor for the great adventure.
Meanwhile, the organisation further urge federal government of Nigeria to lift ban on football activities across the country.
Football like any other sporting activities has been on hold since mid March 2020 due to outbreak of Corona virus across the continent and globally.
The group said the worship centre, market etc has been allowed to return then football too should be allow return.
Leagues in Nigeria is slated to return in either September or October tentatively.
