The 3SC 1998 Set however reminded the State Governor to fulfill the promise to reward them, made twenty three years ago after they won double titles at the end of 1998 football season.
“We use this opportunity to remind His Excellency of the promise made by Com-Pol Amen Oyakhire in 1998. After we won league and WAFU titles, the then Military Governor promised to give us lands and cash rewards. We appeal to the People’s Governor to fulfill this promise”, the group said.
