Samurai League: M&N FC Outclass Bomarah FC
The 2nd edition of the Samurai League commenced at the Remo Star stadium in Ikenne with M&N FC securing a win in their opening game against Bomarah FC.
The defending champions lived up to expectations as they seized control of the game right from the blast of the whistle.
Segilola Kehinde netted the opening goal in the 15th minute of the game before Abass Toheeb doubled their lead 6 minutes later.
The introduction of Ishola Gbolahan changed the face of the game as he reduced the deficit from the penalty spot to end the first half 2-1.
Bomarah improved their game in the second half and they almost got the equalizer but the M&N goalkeeper stood his ground to deny them.
Feranmi Fakorede sealed the game for M&N with a well-taken header to hand his team a 3-1 win.
