Shooting Stars Head Of Football Academy Explain Challenges Of A Grassroot Coach

As football continue to struggle at the underage level, Shooting Stars head of football academy Coach Ayo Adeyemo has explained the reason why it’s happening that way and the challenges facing coaches at the grassroot level.
He made this known during a virtual coaching lecture organised by Coach Bolarinwa Obalola Kobayashi under the auspices of State of Osun Grassroot Coaching Education.
He further talk about having right training for players at every age grade.
“There a lots of challenges in developing young players as a grassroot coach, but you must endure because you are like father to them.
There is no job without challenges but the one we are praying to overcome is facilities, most facilities in the community are dilapidated and not good enough to grow all these players.
We improvised and manage what we have as a grassroot coach and financially we are not buoyant.
As knowledgeable coach, you must know the right training for your boys, the moment you possess the knowledge of the game you must impact your players to grow.
At every age grade there is a training you mist give them to be able to grow properly to the next age grade”, he explained.
