Shooting Stars Legend Seyi Ogunsanya, Kobayashi Meet in US, Plan Coaching Education Drive In Nigeria

Former Shooting Stars defender Seyi Ogunsanya and Bolarinwa Obalola Kobayashi have met in the United States, holding productive talks on boosting grassroots coaching development in Nigeria.
Ogunsanya, now a UEFA-licensed coach, has been based in the US since retiring from active football.
Before hanging up his boots, the towering defender played a key role in Nigerian football, featuring prominently in the Nigeria Premier Football League and being part of the Enyimba International side that clinched Nigeria’s first-ever CAF Champions League title.

During their meeting, Kobayashi also a UEFA-licensed coach shared insights on his ongoing work to improve coaching education in Nigeria.
Ogunsanya welcomed the initiative and pledged to contribute towards ensuring more Nigerian coaches attain professional certification.
