Tokyo League: Kobayashi Delighted With Win, Eyes Title

It was another joyful day in the camp of Zion FC on Sunday as they secured another league win against hard fighting TFSC.
Zion FC under hard working Bolarinwa Obalola Kobayashi required two more wins to be crowned champion and expectedly start the game on the front foot.

The hard pressing play held back TFSC who is also hoping to get something from the game.
The first stanza of the game which was end to end battle could not produce any goal and the second half also followed the same trend.
As the game reached the tail end it was Young Sun Yoon who broke the deadlock in the 93rd minute after defenders of TFSC failed to clear their lines.
The win moved Zion FC closer to the league title with 33 points and needed to secure a win in the final game to claim the title.
Meanwhile, after the game elated head coach of the Zion FC, Kobayashi was excited but admitted that they were unable to play according to plan.
” it was tough. There are times when we can win even if we can’t play but that’s exactly what we did today.
We couldn’t play according to the plan but I’m glad we got maximum points’, he said
Zion FC will face Marubeni on 23rd of November and a win will guarantee them the title.
