Tokyo League: Obalola Lead Zion FC To The Elite Division

It was a dream come true for Japan’s based Nigeria coach Bolarinwa Obalola Kobayashi as he led Zion FC to promotion in the Tokyo League.

Kobayashi was appointed a few months ago to steady the dwindling ship of the club and he was able to live up to expectations.

Zion required a win in the final game against Marubeni and they achieved their set objective.

Young Soon netted the opening goal in the 20th minute before Yo made 2-0 in the 35th minute.

Young Soon completed his brace in the 65th minute while Shomu sealed the victory in the 80th minute and handed Zion FC ticket to the elite division.

Zion FC garnered 36 points and dumped Flutto-Flutto FC to the second position with 31 points.
