Zion FC Clinch Pre-Season Tournament

Ahead of the new Tokyo League season, champions Zion FC has intensified their readiness to retain their crown.
The club started last season on a shaky note but their story changed mid-way into the season following the appointment of Bolarinwa Obalola otherwise known as Kobayashi as the new head coach of the club.
The soft-spoken gaffer took charge of the team and turned them into the beautiful bride of the entire city with their robust style of play.
They were able to bounce back strongly and secured the league title at the expense of a much-established team.
As the new season beckoned, Zion FC took part in a preseason tournament and demonstrated that their league triumph was no fluke.
They defeated Intel Biloba Tokyo by a lone goal in the first match and pipped Edo All United 3-2 via penalty to emerge, winner of the competition.
Meanwhile, Zion FC will start their title defence in March as the league organiser has announced the 27th of March as the kick-off date.
